This little gem is extremely easy to customize and much cuter than the version you will find at your local coffee shop. In fact, they are so quick, you'll be done with a whole set before you know it. And you can put a different ribbon on each one so everyone can identify their mug. |

| Notes: While much cuter than the cardboard version, these are quite a bit more slippery. Be sure you carry your mug by the handle to be safe. The fit should be fairly tight (to minimize slipping) and the two edges don't have to meet completely. In fact, it will be easier to use the handle if there isn't too much fabric around it. As far as height is concerned, this is easily customizable. If you are making a gift and can't get the measurements of the mug, it is better to make it shorter. If it is too tall, you can't drink out of the mug. |

| TO MAKE: Cast on 38 (44, 50). Work in pattern stitch. On Row 3, work an eyelet row. Continue in pattern stitch to height of inside of handle. Work 2 eyelet rows spaced either 2 or 4 rows apart depending on size of handle and height of mug. Continue in pattern stitch to below top of mug (typically only a couple of rows). Bind off in pattern. RIBBONS: |
