Well folks, it has been over a year in the making, and last Thursday, November 8th, we finally opened the doors to the Chronicle Books store at 1846 Union Street in San Francisco. And we couldn’t be more thrilled!

When conceptualizing the store we decided to pair our books and gifts with products that we like from companies we admire including Branch, Heath Ceramics, McEvoy Ranch, and CritBuns.

Celebrate with us!

We are hosting a Grand Opening party on Saturday Dec 1st. It’s going to be an all-day affair with various author readings and signings throughout the day:

• 10:30-11:30: Children’s author Bob Barner will read from Dem Bones and will be signing copies of his books

• 1:00-2:00: Peggy Knickerbocker co-author of The San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market Cookbook and Georgeanne Brennan author of A Pig in Provence will be signing copies of their books

• 3:00-4:00: Get crafty with Alicia Bergin, co-author of the Crochet to Go Deck, and Meg Mateo Ilasco, author of Craft, Inc.

• 5:00-6:00: Artist Rex Ray will be in the store signing copies of Rex Ray Art + Design

If you are in the area but not able to make it to our grand opening party, you should definitely stop by to see the three beautiful Rex Ray works currently hanging in the store.
