Come celebrate Still: Oceanscapes by Debra Bloomfield
We’re proud to announce what promises to be a really great evening of conversation between Bay Area photographer Debra Bloomfield and renowned author, thinker, and activist Terry Tempest Williams. Debra’s book Still is a stunning meditation on color and mood, and Terry’s text contribution is perfectly suited to the project. I will be on hand at the San Francisco Art Institute moderating the discussion, and maybe throwing in some thoughts; the opportunity to share a discussion with these amazing artists is almost literally incredible to me (and more than a little daunting), but I’ll do my utmost to set a proper stage for provocative discussion about visual beauty, the environment, and the role of artists in the twenty-first century (we’ll start there).
They will also be on hand at Book Passage in Corte Madera for a book signing; these are two wonderful opportunities to meet the minds behind this gorgeous book.
