Our book, The Art of Cars 2, features behind-the-scenes concept art that went into the film’s creation and a foreword by the director and racecar-enthusiast John Lasseter.

Some of the new characters are great, but Mater will always be my favorite. It’s funny because I didn’t think I would care for him when I first saw previews of Cars, but I love him. He has a great outlook and sense of humor and nothing gets him down for long.

While Lightning McQueen is the star, Mater never fails to make me laugh! I loved the original Cars and wasn't sure if I would like Cars 2, but leave it to Pixar to make an incredible film!

Very cool! I have a summer intern working for me who is a design student. He said his dream job is to be an animator for Pixar. Ahh…one can dream, right?

I haven't seen the movie yet because the release in the cinema is next week (yeah… i am not fir enough to see a full length movie in english).

But i loved finn mcmissiles entrance in the trailer. =)

My favorite character is, of course, Mater. Many years ago, I watched Larry on a small stage in Anchorage, Alaska and I knew then that he would get famous for his humor. He was hilarious then with his strong Southern accent and is still making me laugh to this day.

This is by far my nephews favorite movie. Practically everything they own is cars related. I'm a fan of Mater! I have not seen the new movie yet (blasphemy!), but I'm sure I will watch it a million times with them when it comes out on dvd.
