It’s Wedding Week at Chronicle Books! (+ the chance to win $100 in wedding books & gifts!)
My love of weddings is no secret. I’ve blogged about Chronicle Books employee engagements, wedding-themed events we’ve thrown right here in the office, and the Pin-worthy wedding of one of my closest friends. I’ve been a bridesmaid seven times (that’s right—SEVEN TIMES!) and I’ve attended more weddings in the last five years than I can count on my fingers and toes. Plus, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the authors, editors, and designers behind Chronicle’s wonderful wedding titles.
As you might guess, those are just a few of the reasons I’m thrilled to announce that it’s Wedding Week at Chronicle Books! Every day this week, we’ll have a very special post right here on the Chronicle Books blog. Here’s what you can expect this week:
Monday, January 21 – We’re so excited to announce our Wedding Week (and a Pinterest contest—details below!)
Tuesday, January 22 – Vintage Wedding Style author Elizabeth Demos will share a project from her book.
Wednesday, January 23 – Author Sarah Copeland will share a recipe from The Newlywed Cookbook.
Thursday, January 24, 2013 – Chronicle’s very own Community Manager will blog about weddings + Pinterest.
Friday, January 25, 2013 – All-star event planner Alison Hotchkiss will share tips from her new All the Essentials Wedding Planner.
In celebration of Wedding Week, we’re launching a fun contest on Pinterest! All you have to do is create a Pinterest board to plan your wedding, pin your favorite wedding book from ChronicleBooks.com and tag your pins with #WeddingWeek and @ChronicleBooks. Once you submit a link to your board here, you’ll be eligible to be one of three winners chosen to receive $100 of wedding books and gifts from Chronicle Books.
I hope you’ll be inspired by the Wedding Week festivities—it’s definitely something worth celebrating!
