Behind the Scenes

Chronicle on the Map

It’s time for another installment of Chronicle on the Map! Our Chronicle Rights team makes every effort to get our books into the hands of those who need a laugh, a craft to learn, or a child to entertain, no matter where they live in the world. Every year we travel to Bologna, London, and Frankfurt to introduce our titles to publishers from around the world and it’s always interesting to see their unique reactions to each book. Even more interesting is to see finished copies of translated editions. We never know what we’re going to get. Here is a round up of the foreign editions of our titles that we’ve received in the last month—from the Netherlands and Denmark to Korea!

Zwanger van een tweeling (The Netherlands) / The Baby Bump: Twins and Triplets Edition by Carly Roney and the editors of TheBump.com

Fashion striken (Germany) / Knitting by Design by Emma Robertson, photographs by Max Wanger

Bobler & Bomber (Denmark) / Lots of Dots by Craig Frazier

Poules et coqs d’apparat (France) / The Magnificent Chicken, photographs by Tamara Staples, introduction by Ira Glass

On a Beam of Light (Korea) by Jennifer Berne, illustrated by Vladimir Radunsky
