A Chronicle Design Christmas
This year I celebrated my very first Chronicle Books Christmas. The festivities began in early December, each one full of the joy and curiosity that I see every day from folks at Chronicle. There were cookies (lots of cookies!), a tree lighting, a campaign to Give Books, a craft fair, a beautiful party for friends and family, and, finally, a chance to put on pajamas and ruthlessly steal gifts from fellow designers.
A few weeks ago an enticing invite arrived in my inbox, and I knew good things were in store!
A team of elves transformed our critique space into a magical winter wonderland. Look what you can do with foam core, wallpaper, vinyl snow scenes, and a little creativity!
Take a peek at the mantle! This year we celebrated the Fifth Annual Pajama Party, and the photos from years past hung proudly above the fireplace.
Two Santas joined the Design Team, complete with a list of who’s been naughty and nice. We watched the fireplace video blaze and feasted on a Yule log. Finally, after a cutthroat Yankee Swap, we gathered for a celebratory family photo to hang next year.
