Amy Butler ‘Sew Inspiring” Contest Winners!

And the winner is….

First off we want to thank each and every person who entered the Amy Butler Sew Inspiring Contest. We had an overwhelming response and Amy Butler was just thrilled with all of the entries. It took her a long time to pick the winners and it wasn’t easy, what a talented group of people! All of us at Chronicle Books were completely inspired by the entries and personally I’m inspired to take another sewing class!

The grand prize winner is kimmersk9 who created the lovely Tremendous Tote:

I can only imagine how difficult it must’ve been to choose. I know I adored most of what was submitted. Plenty of talented sewers in that pool. I loved looking at all the pics and they have served well as inspiration. Congrats to the winners.

[...] Sorry ’bout that. But I didn’t forget about you! I have no good excuse, really. I’ve been in a bit of a rut, both craft-wise and just everyday-wise. And you should feel bad for me! Because first of all, I didn’t win that contest. But you knew that already, because I would have been here posting about it long ago. Several wonderful people did win (though none of my faves), and they deserve it! Go see here. [...]
