Devendra Banhart will release major label debut What Will We Be on Warner Bros. And come November, he’ll hit the road with his band to play a few shows around the Northeast and upper Midwest. This time around, Devendra’s band includes two members of Little Joy: guitarists Rodrigo Amarante and Noah Georgeson, the latter of whom also produced Banhart’s last two albums. Also along for the ride are Priestbird drummer Greg Rogove and the Pleased bassist Luckey Remington.

A celebration of Linda Perhacs’ seminal folk album “Parallelograms.” This mystic creation from 1970 is one of our all-time favorite musical works. Linda’s masterpiece will come to life in this historic multimedia happening. She will perform publicly for the first time ever and be joined on stage by some of the most stunning contemporary artists for uniquely crafted musical performance, visual art, film and dance.

Featured musicians include: Aaron Robinson, Ariana Delawari, Ben Knight, Blank Blue, Crystal Antlers, Hecuba, Julia Holter, LA Ladies Choir, Mia Doi Todd, Rio en Medio, Tom Brosseau, We Are the World and more.

Original Films by: Alia Penner, Andrea Fellers, Brian Close, Daft Punk, Hecuba, Jeremy Rendina, Jessica Hundley, John Wyatt, Kelly Sears, Matt Amato, Maximilla Lukacs and Nicole McDonald.

Banhart’s sixth solo record is all finished, and it’s due out this fall. He has announced a string of live dates where you will surely be able to hear some of the new songs off his forthcoming record.
