When he isn't combing atlases and almanacs for interesting tidbits about obscure locations, he enjoys experimental cooking, playing catch with his golden retriever, Melanie, and drinking sweet tea.

Chuck Nitzberg has lived and worked in Manhattan since graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1975. He enjoys vintage music, going to the beach, and traveling.
