The Essential Chocolate Chip Cookbook -- One of the greatest pleasures of life is biting into a warm chocolate chip cookie straight from the oven. Now imagine it's Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding or Chocolate Chip Angel Cake with Chocolate Marshmallow Frosting. The Essential Chocolate Chip Cookbook offers 45 recipes that cover all the dessert bases—cookies, cakes, candies, brownies, tarts, frozen treats, and more. Chocolate chips saturate these recipes inside and out, so there's also a guide to the differences between these tiny indulgences. Using milk, semisweet, bittersweet, and white chocolate, Klivans encourages readers to discover their favorite chocolate chip recipes by, of course, tasting them all!

I've only tried three recipes so far but they've all been great. My favorite has to be the coffee and white chocolate chip blondies. They taste amazing.

So, I'm usually a little bit wary of anything with words like "Essential" or "THE BEST....EVER," but the recipes in this book or so incredibly drool-worthy, that I think the titles is deserved. Not just cookies, but candies, bars, baked goods of every stripe. The beautiful look of the book, the many pictures and the quality of the recipes elevates this book far above others of its ilk. Even just looking at the pictures gives me satisfaction...mmmm...chocolate....*wipes drool from chin*
