This book is an essential for not only girls reaching (or in) puberty but their parents as well! It is a refreshingly ‘real’ look at starting your period and the things that can and do happen once you have it. It is written with humor, wisdom, and a casual style. The accessories included are exactly what every girl needs. I wish this book had been available when I was 12. I had to muddle through just about every scenario presented in the book!
