Rose insists on a close collaboration with his clients, who come to him because of his reputation for deliberately restrained, livable homes in harmony with the landscape. Since beginning his practice in 1978, Rose has received numerous awards for residential, institutional, and urban design projects. Rose received a master of architecture degree and bachelor of arts degree from Yale University, and has been adjunct professor of architecture at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design since 1991.
