cute, but not for ironing on

really cute, I got them to transfer okay, but they fade after one washing to NOTHING, even in cold water or hand wash. and they seem to fade in general. As Tina Loff says, make sure your iron is really HOT, no steam. but even still the virbrency seems to diminish somewhat after the fabric cools. and don't iron it on anything you plan to wash! but super cute images. It's just too bad this doesn't work well as functional iron-ons. :(

These iron-ons are really fun. In order to get them to work properly you need to make sure your iron is HOT. As hot as it will get. Once HOT HOT place it on on the iron on and leave in place carefully moving side to side (without moving the paper) for a solid 3 minutes. You will get a bright, clear transfer. I recommend you hand wash instead of machine wash garments you use these iron-ons on, it will prevent fading. Perfect for tote bags and curtains!!

cute but hard to do!

I love, love love the designs and couldn't wait to try them out. Followed instructions to the letter. Designs turned out rather faint (like, too faint to be seen properly on grey marle t-shirt). Tried several times with similar results. My husband tried one on an old t-shirt and got a better result by leaving iron on for longer but this also scorched the t-shirt! What am I doing wrong??
