Frank Was a Monster Who Wanted to Dance -- Frank was a monster who wanted to dance. So he put on his hat, and his shoes made in France... and opened a jar and put ants in his pants! So begins this monstrously funny, deliciously disgusting, horrifyingly hilarious story of a monster who follows his dream. Keith Graves' wacky illustrations and laugh-out-loud text will tickle the funny bone and leave readers clamoring for an encore.

Kids Love it

The rhyme scheme on this is catchy and irresistible. Personally the gross-out factor is more than I can handle but my kids LOVE it. I read it to them so many times I had the book memorized line by line two years ago and can still recite most of it by heart. I just found out it was in paperback and got it again for my youngest. Again, I'm not a huge fan of the content (his brain rolls out on stage, for example) but love the ease of reading it out loud. And if my kids love it and want it read to the over and over, then I guess that's what matters.
