Barry Moser is a native Tennessean who has made his home in Massachusetts for forty years. He was educated at Auburn University, the University of Chattanooga, and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
His work is in numerous collections and libraries around the world, including The National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; The Metropolitan Museum; The British Museum; The Library of Congress; The New York Public Library; The National Library of Australia; The Vatican Library; The Victoria & Albert Museum; and the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
As an illustrator, author and/or designer, Mr. Moser has done over three hundred titles. He has illustrated both Cowboy Stories and Scary Stories for Chronicle Books.
