John Duggleby is a full-time writer, part-time performer and musician, and occasional chicken dancer. His other titles include husband, dad, grandpa and shepherd of a dog, a cat and a fluctuating flock of chickens. He lives with this menagerie in an area of Wisconsin best known for cheese and Bucky Badger. He has written several books for young people including biographies of artists Grant Wood and Jacob Lawrence.

Born in Teignmouth, S. Devon, England, Ms. Evans came to the U.S. in 1959 and studied painting, drawing and composition. Dilys Evans is the president of Dilys Evans Fine Illustration, the company she founded in 1978 representing many of the finest illustrators in children's books. In 1979 she founded the Original Art Exhibition at the Master Eagle Gallery in New York, a combined picture book and original art event featuring the most outstanding children's books published each year. Today, the Original Art Exhibition has a permanent home at The Society of Illustrators in New York, and has become a major annual exhibition. Show and Tell is her first Chronicle book and work on children's book illustration.

Craig Frazier is an internationally recognized designer and illustrator. He has owned his own design firm since 1978. He has designed trademarks, brochures, annual reports, packaging, posters and advertising, and now children's books. His work is in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In 1996, he shifted his career emphasis from graphic design to illustration. Today, he is commissioned by national and international design firms, advertising agencies, and publications to create illustrations. He is a regular contributor to the NY Times Op/ed page as well as Time Magazine and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications. He is married with two children and lives in sunny Northern California.
