Winner of the Pamphlet Architecture 32 competition.
James A. Craig is currently working between architecture and visual art based practice . Previous experience includes immersive installation design, interior re-modeling, urban design, furniture design and residential work. James graduated in 2009 from the MArch course at Edinburgh with Distinction. James is interested in situation specific work often using the found-object as a primary design driver. Collaboration is important to his work and often the dialogue (writing/conversation) created between contributors is used physically in the design output. James is frequently involved in student reviews at the Bartlett UCL and the University of Westminster. Primary shows include 'DROMOS' in collaboration with Bedwyr Williams and Derek Sutherland at Generator Projects in Dundee. 'Timekeeper' at the Royal Scottish Academy and at the Zacheta Gallery of Modern Art Warsaw.
