Lovely Reference Book

Lovely Reference Book

This lovely book is a porthole to discovery. It's the type of dictonary that, as you look up a word, you end up reading the whole page (I could read it cover-to-cover). What a delightful way to explore the world from your armchair or desk. The illustrations make me feel as though I'm on a voyage, and a scientist and scolar are narrating as I read. If I was on a deserted island with only one book, this book would be it.

I love this book, is amazing to see the details of the illustrations, they're all beautiful. My favorites: the ones about transportation (bicycles, ships, barks, coach, clarence, etc) and architecture details. Love it!
