Why?
10/11/11| Forest GumpThis book is a good one, but these products have too much sugar. sugar and fat is why we have obesity in the U.S.! even though these are tasty treats, they are very popular and could be a part of obesity. -
Take a Peep!
10/11/11| lisa bachThis is an adorable book--totally imaginative. If you (or someone you love) is a huge Peeps fan, then this is the book for you. There are recipes and also great home decor ideas (the use of Peeps in a vase is my favorite). -
even those who hate Peeps...
10/11/11| Zelda Lemcan't not like this book. Peeps are one of those classic "love-em-or-hate-em" items, like fuzzy dice or haggis. i must admit that i am usually on the "hate-em" end of the Great Peeps Debate. but this little book is such a delight that my hatred might be turning to something considerably more warm and fuzzy. not only is the design of the book positively squeal inducing, but the pictures of Peep-er-ific recipes and crafts will have you buying out your local Walgreens. why not make a colorful twist on fondue with Peeps? or use them as an adorable cupcake topper? hell even if you refuse to put a Peep anywhere near your mouth the crafts section has all sorts of clever ideas to capitalize on the awesome kitsch factor of peeps. a Peeps chopstick holder? a Peeps vase? now when my boyfriend tears into a packet of Peeps, instead of cringing i have to smile...maybe i'll even ask if i can have a couple.... -
So cute!!!
10/11/11| Kate ProutyOh my god, this is the cutest book I have seen in a long time! I got it because I'm planning a Peeps-themed Easter party but there are things here you could make any time of the year. Peepsicles? They're so cute (and look easy to make). And who doesn't want a Peeps Mai Tai? You kind of have to see it to believe it.
