Cooking for kids can be fun!
10/11/11| Diane ShuppThe range of recipes in this fun cookbook appeals to a variety of tastes for toddlers through childhood and even adults! My two year old son's favorite recipe in this book so far is the pea pops, which taste closely to mint chocolate chip ice cream only they are much healthier! I've had many kids eat these without realizing they were eating a veggie pop. The author covers a range of recipes that can be used throughout the day for meals and snacks. The recipes are well written and the ingredients are easy to find in a local grocery store.
While I haven't cooked with him yet, when he is old enough to do so I plan to use many of these recipes to introduce my son to cooking and healthy foods.
The photography in this cookbook compliments the recipes well and help give the cook an idea of how the recipes should turn out or serving ideas.
All in all I highly recommend this cookbook for any parent or caregiver who is looking for fresh ideas for foods for their favorite little kids.
