Hadley Higginson grew up on a farm in Vermont where she had a sneaky pony of her own. She lives in Georgia where she works as a writer for an advertising firm. Although she currently has no pony, she does have a bossy little dog. This is her first book.

Maja Andersen lives in Missouri where she illustrates greeting cards.

Kindergarten Classic

Although she's only in Kindergarten, my adorable little flower girl is a heck of a reader. I gave her the full set of Keeker books as a thank you gift, thinking that her parents could read them to her, and next thing I hear this little brainiac has started plowing through them all by herself. Her mom reports that she's completely in love with the characters, and SO pleased with herself for reading grown-up chapter books. Thanks!
