    Peggy Fleming is a world class figure skater and the only American to bring home a gold medal from the 1968 Winter Olympics. She advocates for numerous causes from her home in the San Francisco Bay Area.

    Im very proud to call Janet Freeman.. the athlete in the first section, My Grandma! I would like to thank everyone involved with this book for picking her to write about. I know she feels very special, as we all do. She is an amazing woman who has lived a crazy life that I could never keep up with now at the age of only 25! (And yes.. I've tried!). It is great that all these athletes get recognized for all they have done and are still doing! It's a great book and a real inspiration to everyone!
