Is the Gambel's quail recording really a CA quail?

Is the Gambel's quail recording really a CA quail?

Hi I just received this book as a gift from my dear aunt in AZ. Thus I looked up Gambel's quail with the intent of playing it for her. I was surprised to find a "Chi-ca-go" call similar to a CA Quail not the Ka Kaaa Ka of the Gambel's. Could this be an error? I cannot find any errata posted for the book. Notably the 'song' for the CA quail, is not the well-known 'chi-ca-go' song but rather a sharp call.
Other wise I am charmed by the book and am eager to explore more of the vocalizations.

This book is just beautiful! The drawings are amazing and the bird songs dead on, at least as far as the ones I am familiar with! I am using this to study the birds of Yellowstone before my trip this summer. It is great fun to watch the dog's reactions while I play each different song! Great coffee table book but keep away from small fingers because you will want to look at it for many years to come!
