    Could be more flexible.

    Content-wise, the book is awesome! It has a lot of beautiful patterns with wonderful colour combination. However, I thought the CD also includes vector files so we can modify the colours, but nope. The CD only offers you JPEG files and you need to tile them up yourself. Some of the patterns are even not "symmetrical" on all four sides so you need to overlap them to make them tiled up seamlessly. Perhaps it's related to copyright and licensing...but I hope there could've been more details about the technical stuff on the book cover.

    Before buying this book, I've bought 3 pattern books by a Japanese publisher BNN. They offer both EPS and JPEG files, which help a lot in the design process.
