The Pillow Book

Can't afford a new couch? Cover it with pillows! Every interior decorator worth her measuring tape knows the easiestnot to mention cheapestway to transform a room is with fresh, colorful cushions. For this beautiful sewing book, veteran crafter Shannon Okey created more than 25 patterns for every room in the home. Projects range frombeginner friendly throw pillows, shams, and bolsters to more advanced bench pads, ottomans, and oversized floor cushions. We've tucked ready-to-use (no photocopier enlarging here!) pattern pieces into a pocket and used Wire-O binding for easy reference while sewing. With photographs and designs inspired by the hippest looks, The Pillow Book is just the fix for quick and easy home makeovers.

A great book for beginner's and experienced sewers!

10/11/11| Ashley Brewer - Special Sales Assistant
As a novice sewer (alright - novice crafter, period!), it's really hard to find books that are worth buying - a lot of them aren't geared towards beginners or are geared ONLY to beginners. This hits a nice middle ground with projects that are basic to complicated. The trick is in the subject matter - the pillow in all of its lovely squareness! But its not just your basic square pillow - you can graduate to cylindrical, round, chair pads, OTTOMANS. Who knew pillows were so exciting??!
...well apparently now I do!
