    Malaysia and Indonesia, yes, but also Mauritius

    A sweeping over view but this book contains recipes from places rarely mentioned in cookbooks - Reunion, Zanzibar, Mauritius - all islands along the east coast of Africa, and with slightly different takes take on curries and food of the spice diaspora. Zanzibar Octapus curry, Omani shrimp w/tamarind, trout with rum and vanilla a la Reunion. (yes, there are many seafood recipes)
