A Vunce in a Lifetime Halloween Adventure
In this kit, you'll find step-by-step instructions on creating lots of Halloween fun all inspired by Vunce Upon a Time! Included are easy-to-follow patterns for making bat wings, bat ears and face-painting. The result is a ready-to-wear vampire bat costume! We used black rip nylon for the bat wings (approximately 1 yard for each pair of wings) found at most fabric stores and black ribbon to attach them to a child’s arms. Print out the form for "Turn into a vampire in 6 easy steps!" and you are ready for some serious Halloween haunting!

For truly getting into the Halloween spirit, print out our activities for Jack-o-lantern carving, seasonal recipes, character coloring sheets, and easy to make stickers (print these out on full-sheet adhesive paper)!

To turn this into a party, have enough materials on hand for each child's costume, bring out the face paints, make fun goody bags for the kids and set up trick-or-treat stations around the house with vampire teeth, tiny bags of carrots (the character Dagmar is a vegetarian vampire after all!), tiny boxes of raisins, and other fun treats. For the truly adventurous, have a bunch of medium sized pumpkins and using the jack-o-lantern template, carve up a bunch of jack-o-lanterns for the kids to take home.

Happy Halloween from Chronicle Kids!
