642 Creative Challenge: Draw a Treasure Chest or Write About Your Worst Date
It’s time for the next creative challenge inspired by the 642 series (642 Things to Draw, 642 Things to Write, and other sources of endless quirky inspiration). Each journal is filled with lots of silly and/or inspiring prompts, meaning you never have to draw a blank.
It’s November and that puts us in the mood to be grateful for the things we cherish most (but let’s not forget the value of hours that weren’t our finest either).
DRAW: A treasure chest
WRITE: Describe the worst date of your life
All entries need to include the hashtag #642things and tag @chroniclebooks!
Here’s some inspiration from senior designer Emily Dubin:
Thank you so much to everyone who entered last month’s creative challenge. Your bookstores were right up our alley. See below for our winning entry featuring an inviting window of Westsider Records and Books. Our winner will receive a copy of 642 Tiny Things to Draw, 642 Things to Draw, 642 Places to Draw, and a set of Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils!
For our last writing challenge, we asked you to start a story with “I can’t really go into this right now…”
A tip of the hat to Sarah Jordan (@sjordanusher), the winner in this category. She’ll receive 642 Tiny Things to Write About, 642 Things to Write About, and Start Now!The Creativity Journal.
We can’t wait to see what you come up with this month.
