Design & Development Director, Petit Collage
Chronicle Books is looking for a Design and Development Director for our Petit Collage brand. Petit Collage is all about good design, combining a modern aesthetic with sustainability criteria to create bold, thoughtful products children love.
The Director will be the leader of Petit Collage’s line development and design. Charged with growing the brand and its overall business success, the Director will inspire and create innovative, profitable products that surprise and delight children and their loved ones, expand the Petit Collage’s customer and gifting base, and enhance both Petit Collage and Chronicle Books as a whole.
- Strategize for creative and business growth
- Create eye-catching, educational, and profitable toys, products, games, and trivia that children love to keep playing with
- Collaborate with and motivate talent, internally and externally
- Drive financial goals
- Be an ambassador for Petit Collage
Candidates should have 3+ years’ experience in a senior role as a high-level product designer, notably in the children’s sphere, along with line development experience. Expertise in Adobe design suite is required. Driven by creative distinctiveness and business savvy and attuned to the magic of play, the Design and Development Director will be alert to product, consumer, and business opportunities, charismatically energize others around strategic imperatives, and be propelled by personal and shared team success.
