If you look up at the sky on a dark night, what do you see? There's a whole universe staring back at you—from the stars and the moon to planets, satellites, and even the occasional comet.

This fully-illustrated guide will introduce you to the beauty of the night sky and show you the stars like you've never seen them before. In the company of Felicity, a streetwise cat who spends her night gazing up at the stars from the rooftops, you'll discover the phases of the moon, the constellation "pictures" formed by the stars, and how to spot phenomena like the Northern Lights and the Milky Way.

Written by astronomy expert Stuart Atkinson and beautifully illustrated by Brendan Kearney, A Cat's Guide to the Night Sky also comes with a glow-in-the-dark poster, stickers, and a special press-out planisphere to help you find stars and constellations.

Stuart Atkinson has been fascinated by space and astronomy since watching the moon landings as a small child. He has been writing and editing books about astronomy and space for almost 30 years, runs several astronomical societies, and on a clear night he can be found gazing up at the stars with his cat.

While studying architecture at university, Brendan Kearney realized he didn't like rulers. He also discovered that drawing pictures for a living was a legitimate and fun career option, and so traded architecture for illustration as quickly as he could. He specializes in children's books and artwork.
