The Creative Company was founded in 1932 and initially produced maps and diagrams for teachers and students, chalk game sets, and rubber stamps. By the 1960s, Creative was a leading children’s publisher, creating magnificently illustrated school and library books on a multitude of subjects ranging from science to sports. Today, the company is led by third-generation owner and publisher Tom Peterson and features four imprints: Creative Education (nonfiction series), Creative Editions (picture books), Creative Paperbacks (softcover versions of nonfiction and picture books), and Creative Digital (ebooks). Across all four imprints, The Creative Company maintains its longstanding dedication to publishing innovative and beautiful books that both teach and inspire. Blackwell & Ruth

Blackwell & Ruth is an award-winning creator of books, films and exhibitions for publishers and partners in forty countries. Their work is founded on subjects that matter to them – equality, humanity, the environment, and food security – subjects they hope add to the volume of good in the world.

They have originated five books with Nelson Mandela and his colleagues at the Nelson Mandela Foundation, which collectively have been published in thirty-five languages, including The New York Times bestseller Conversations with Myself which featured a foreword by President Barack Obama.
