Graphic designer Vanessa Dina (who makes sure each dish looks as good as it tastes), Kristina Fuller (a cooking novice, but always ready to try anything), and Gemma DePalma (who learned to cook by age 8 at the side of her Italian granny) formed the Meat Club in 2002. They still get together to cook meat whenever Gemma comes back to visit the San Francisco Bay Area from her home in New York City.
Caroline Hwang is a Brooklyn-based artist whose work hs appeared in Bust Magazine, Utne Reader, and Fast Company. She currently shows in several galleries nationwide.
