Bernard Mensah is a Ghanaian father of two boys. He writes stories that introduce and connect children to cultures they may not encounter on a daily basis and, hopefully, teach them that we are not so dissimilar regardless of the color of our skin. He currently resides in the United Kingdom.

Talia Skyles is an artist and elementary school art educator. She is passionate about creating art that sparks joy and makes kids feel proud of who they are and confident in their own skin. When not at her drawing table or teaching, Talia enjoys reading, roller skating, and taking care of her many plants. She lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
